“Iridescent Ray” refers to the mapping of flight and the unique textural surface of the insect. This artwork embeds research notes and photographic images from the insect collection at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Australia.

    Looks great, are the colours also based on insect pigments?

    • The colours changed from the original insect colours to incorporate the embedded reference to the MOPRA telescope.
